7th Annual Tshwane Varsity Hackathon (TVH)

The Tshwane Varsity Hackathon (TVH) is a three-day student hackathon organised by the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology at Tshwane University of Technology in partnership with the City of Tshwane and other faculty and industry partners. The event brings together university students, educators, industry partners and local government to develop digital solutions for community-driven urban challenges. Teams work intensively to design, build and present prototypes to a panel of judges, with top teams progressing to further innovation development and prize recognition.

The top five teams were selected to move forward in the innovation development process, with the top three to be announced at a prize-giving ceremony.

University students participated; teams came from Tshwane University of Technology, UNISA, University of Pretoria and Sefako Makgatho Health and Science University.
