The Black Lawrence Immigrant Writing Series is a program to support new immigrant writings in the United States. It provides a home for immigrant-authored works and includes publication, marketing support, royalties, and a travel stipend for book tours or promotional activities.

Publication through Black Lawrence Press; comprehensive marketing support; standard royalties contract; $500 travel stipend for book tours or other promotional activities

Requisitos

Open to individuals living in the U.S. who identify as immigrants and meet one of the following criteria: Born in another country; Have at least one parent born in another country; Refugee status; Living in the U.S. under Asylum or a Protection Program (e.g., TPS or DACA).

Solicitud

Manuscripts must be previously unpublished as a complete work; submissions include a brief author bio and contact information; simultaneous submissions are accepted.
