CINTAS Foundation Brandon Fradd Fellowship in Music Composition

The CINTAS Foundation Brandon Fradd Fellowship in Music Composition is an award for composers of Cuban descent to support their work in music composition. The fellowship awards $25,000 and offers exposure opportunities, including a potential performance at the New Music Miami ISCM Festival. Recipients are encouraged to submit signed scores for inclusion in the CINTAS Fellows Collection. Applicants submit recordings and PDF scores as part of the selection materials.

Applicants must be composers of Cuban citizenship or direct lineage (Cuban parent or grandparent). Applicants must be composers (not performing artists); may be enrolled in a graduate program in music composition; fellows may receive the fellowship a maximum of two times; those living outside the U.S. must have a U.S. taxpayer identification number.

Submit an application form using a Google account and upload three to five recordings (including at least two works from the last five years) with links and accompanying PDF scores; include a list of submitted works with dates and performance history.
