CINTAS Foundation Fellowship in Architecture & Design

The CINTAS Foundation Fellowship in Architecture & Design is a monetary fellowship awarded to creative professionals of Cuban citizenship or Cuban descent who demonstrate excellence in architectural design, interior design, urban design, or urban planning. The fellowship supports independent artistic projects (not research or academic work) and encourages fellows to contribute representative samples of their work to the CINTAS Fellows Collection. Awards may be granted a maximum of two times per individual and are taxable under U.S. law. The fellowship is intended primarily for practicing creative professionals early in their careers rather than students or researchers.

$25,000 award; inclusion of representative work in the CINTAS Fellows Collection; may be awarded up to two times per individual.

Applicants must be of Cuban citizenship or direct lineage (Cuban parent or grandparent). Applicants must be creative professionals in architectural design, interior design, urban design, or urban planning; students, researchers, and performing artists are ineligible. Non-U.S. citizens must provide a U.S. taxpayer identification number if awarded. Applicants must create or use a Gmail account to access application forms.

Complete the online application with personal and professional details and upload work samples demonstrating creative and architectural capabilities. If selected, submit representative samples to the CINTAS Fellows Collection.
