CHIETA Discretionary Grants 2026/2027 Cycle 4

The CHIETA Discretionary Grants provide funding to support skills development, research, postgraduate bursaries and strategic projects within South Africa's chemical sector. The call is aimed at addressing skills shortages and strengthening workforce development in line with sector plans and national priorities. Postgraduate bursaries for master’s and PhD studies are included to develop advanced skills aligned with industry needs.

Eligible applicants include chemical-sector employers, training providers, educational institutions, government entities, NGOs, and other qualifying organisations.
