DPoA MTR Journalism Fellowship 2027

The Doha Programme of Action Midterm Review (DPoA MTR) Journalism Fellowship 2027 is a fully funded programme for journalists from Least Developed Countries to attend and report on the Midterm Review in Doha, Qatar, from 25 to 27 March 2027. The fellowship provides financial and professional support to help journalists cover discussions, policy developments, and commitments arising from the review, with an emphasis on sustainable development reporting relevant to LDC audiences. Selected fellows will receive travel, a daily subsistence allowance, orientation, and networking opportunities throughout the fellowship.

Round-trip travel to Doha, daily subsistence allowance for accommodation and meals, participation in pre-conference orientation activities, access to fellowship briefings and networking opportunities.

Applicants must be bona fide journalists from one of the eligible Least Developed Countries and have at least two years of professional journalism experience; applicants must be willing to travel to Doha for the Midterm Review.

Prepare and submit online application with a short biography (max 300 words), two published journalism samples, and a 400-word reporting proposal; complete the online application form.
