European Parliament Schuman Traineeships 2027

The Schuman Traineeships are professional training opportunities offered by the European Parliament to help graduates develop practical skills and understand the work of a European Union institution. Trainees work within different departments and services of the Parliament, gaining experience in areas related to European affairs, administration, communications, research, and public policy. The five-month placements are available in Brussels, Luxembourg, Strasbourg, and selected European Parliament Liaison Offices.

Financial stipend, travel allowance, sickness and accident insurance, professional experience in a major EU institution, international exposure.

Applicants must be university graduates; some traineeships may also accept applicants from non-EU countries depending on the position.
