Åbo stadsforskningsprogram funds academic research expected to produce knowledge applicable to urban development in Åbo (Turku). The programme supports research on social and spatial changes in the city and the city's possibilities to influence these changes, alone or together with other actors. The call aims to finance four projects with a grant of 200,000 euro per project. Specific thematic priorities include housing research and research related to the Swedish-speaking population in Finland; historical studies of the Swedish period in Finland may also be eligible.
