Mästarkurs i facklitterärt skrivande

Mästarkurs i facklitterärt skrivande is a practical, cohort-based advanced course in writing narrative non-fiction, aimed at helping participants develop a manuscript for publication. The programme includes in-person meetings, monthly online seminars, individual digital coaching, guest lectures and a concluding seminar. The course runs from January 2027 and finishes in April/May 2028 and admits a small, selected group of participants.

Five in-person Saturday meetings in Helsinki, monthly online meetings (2 h/month) during months without in-person meetings, three individual digital writing-coaching sessions, guest lectures from experienced non-fiction authors and publishing experts, and a concluding seminar.

The course is aimed at journalists, researchers, authors and other writers who have an idea for a non-fiction manuscript and intend to write in Swedish; participants should be able to understand Finnish. Ten participants will be admitted based on the proposed manuscript idea and to create a diverse group.
