U.S. South Pacific Scholarship Program 2025

The U.S. South Pacific Scholarship Program (USSP) is a merit-based scholarship administered by the East-West Center that provides opportunities for Master’s and Bachelor’s degree study at the University of Hawai‘i, in fields relevant to development needs of Pacific Island countries. The program includes a mentoring component and potential follow-on internship, with access to host family and volunteer service opportunities.

Tuition and fees, housing, monthly stipend, health insurance, book allowance, settling-in and transportation allowances, and mentoring with possible follow-on internship.

Bachelor’s and Master’s scholarships are available; applicants must meet country and educational requirements as specified for each degree track.
