Fulbright-Aalto University Graduate Award

The Fulbright-Aalto University Graduate Award is a scholarship for students intending to complete a full Master's degree at Aalto University. The award provides a monthly grant, tuition coverage (subject to conditions), travel and residence-permit allowances, insurance and access to Fulbright Finland Foundation services and networks. Candidates in other categories such as academically talented doctoral students or non-degree exchange students may be considered if no qualified Master's applicants are available.

EUR 1000/month for nine months; tuition fee scholarship covering annual tuition (possible second-year coverage conditional on performance); travel allowance (USD 1600); residence permit allowance; supplemental accident and sickness benefit; eligibility for subsidized Finnish summer school; full support services and networking opportunities; possible additional grants (e.g. Lois Roth Foundation after arrival).

The grant is primarily targeted to students who wish to complete a full Master's degree at Aalto University. In the absence of qualified Master’s degree students, academically talented doctoral students and Master’s degree exchange (non-degree) students can also be considered.

Dual application: a separate Fulbright grant competition and university admission to Aalto University (and Aalto Excellence Scholarship where applicable). No letter of affiliation is required for Fulbright application when applying for a master's program. Final selections are made by Fulbright Finland Foundation in Helsinki.
