Societat Catalana de Química Prize

The Societat Catalana de Química Prize recognises the scientific trajectory of an individual in the field of chemistry. It is awarded to persons who are members of the Societat Catalana de Química (SCQ) or who carry out professional activity in the lands of Catalan language and culture. Winners receive a diploma and a commemorative award and are invited to give a conference at an SCQ event and to prepare a short video presenting their work. Laureates are also expected to participate as members of the jury in subsequent editions.

Candidates must be a member of the Societat Catalana de Química (SCQ) or carry out professional activity in the lands of Catalan language and culture. Candidatures must be submitted by an SCQ member; self-nominations by members are permitted.

Nominations must be submitted electronically via the form available on the IEC website, with required PDF documents in Catalan and English; the electronic submission receipt must be signed and sent to premis@iec.cat.
