Wilhelm-Ostwald-Nachwuchspreis

The Wilhelm-Ostwald-Nachwuchspreis is an award for outstanding doctoral dissertations that build bridges between disciplines in the spirit of Wilhelm Ostwald. It is jointly conferred by the Wilhelm-Ostwald-Gesellschaft zu Großbothen e.V., the Gesellschaft Deutscher Chemiker (GDCh) and the Deutsche Bunsen-Gesellschaft für physikalische Chemie (DBG). The prize includes a monetary award, society memberships and a certificate. The prize has been awarded since 2007 and is presented in even-numbered years.
