The University of Victoria offers a funded two-year Master of Science opportunity in Remote Sensing & Wildfire, beginning Fall 2027. The program provides a full funding package through research and/or teaching assistantships and involves work on wildfire severity mapping using satellite time series and LiDAR within the Remote Sensing & AI Lab.

Requisitos

Applicants must hold a bachelor degree in a related field by Fall 2027 and have a strong interest in remote sensing, GIS, or wildfire science. Relevant experience with remote sensing, LiDAR, GIS, or programming is desirable.

Prepare and submit an EOI by 15 November 2026 and email CVs, transcripts, and a statement of interest to the supervisor; shortlisted candidates will be invited to apply formally via the UVic Faculty of Graduate Studies.
