Commonwealth Professional Fellowships 2025 – UK Leadership Placements for Mid‑Career Professionals

The Commonwealth Professional Fellowships 2025 are leadership placements for mid-career professionals from low and middle-income Commonwealth countries. Fellows spend 6 to 12 weeks embedded in relevant UK host organizations, gaining leadership and technical experience. The program supports professional development across six development themes and includes various benefits funded by the UK government.

Round-trip airfare, UK visa fee reimbursement, monthly stipend, arrival allowance, host-sponsored funding for short courses or travel within the UK, additional support for disabled fellows.

Eligible applicants are citizens or permanent residents of eligible Commonwealth countries, or recognized refugees, with at least five years of relevant full-time professional experience, employed at home and intending to return after the fellowship, and who have not had a Commonwealth Professional Fellowship in the last five years. Host organizations may impose additional criteria.

Applications proceed via host organization selection followed by candidate nomination; host institutions apply to CSC, candidates submit CV and statements, and selected candidates are nominated to CSC.
