National Health Fellows Program 2026

The National Health Fellows Program 2026 is a government initiative of Nigeria offering a 12-month fellowship with monthly stipends, training, fieldwork, and mentorship. Fellows will be placed across local government areas in Nigeria and work on health systems strengthening and related projects. The program targets young Nigerian citizens and includes hands-on field experiences and mentorship from government and health professionals.

Stipend, training, fieldwork experience, mentorship from senior health professionals and government mentors, and networking opportunities.

Applicants must be Nigerian citizens aged 25–35 and hold at least a Bachelor’s degree in a health-related, IT, or social science field; full-time participation for 12 months is required; applicants should reside in the local government area they apply for and provide a leadership reference.
