Model UN Program Assistant Internship 2025 – Call for Applications with WFUNA in New York

The World Federation of United Nations Associations (WFUNA) is inviting applications for the position of Model UN Program Assistant. The role supports planning and execution of WFUNA’s International Model United Nations (WIMUN) conferences and related projects, providing exposure to international relations and UN processes. The position is based in New York, with potential for remote work for qualified candidates, and is unpaid.

Exposure to international affairs and the UN system, access to the UN Headquarters in New York, opportunities to observe UN meetings, professional networking with UN staff and diplomats, participation in online meetings with UN agencies.

Candidates should be pursuing or hold a bachelor’s degree in international relations, political science, or a related field; prior Model UN experience is strongly preferred; English communication skills are required.
