Matrix Energy Scholarship 2025

The program offers fully funded postgraduate scholarships for Master’s and PhD students in Materials Engineering. It is funded by the Abdulkabir Aliu Foundation and Matrix Energy, in collaboration with Obafemi Awolowo University’s Department of Materials Science and Engineering, providing academic, research and industry exposure opportunities.

Full tuition coverage, free hostel accommodation, monthly living allowance, research funding, laptop, access to facilities, industry exposure opportunities.

Master’s applicants must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Materials Engineering, Metallurgical & Materials Engineering, or a related field with a minimum of second-class upper division (2:1). PhD applicants must hold a Master’s degree in Materials Engineering, Metallurgical & Materials Engineering, or a related field with a research-based Master’s and a strong coursework performance.
