GPSS Travel Grant Fund

A travel grant program for University of Washington graduate and professional students to support upcoming conference travel. The fund provides modest awards to cover conference registration, transportation, lodging, and related costs. Awards are reviewed regularly by a Travel Grants Committee and are intended to assist students who need financial help and whose attendance benefits the university community.

Monetary awards (up to $300 domestic, up to $500 international) to cover conference registration, travel, lodging, and related costs.

Must be a UW graduate or professional student currently enrolled at UW–Seattle; travel must be for an upcoming event (no funding for past events).

Begin application at least three weeks before the conference; submit a Student Form and a Faculty Recommendation Form; international applicants must register with UW Global Travel Security and provide proof; applications are reviewed on a rolling basis (committee meets every two weeks) and decisions are typically made within three weeks of submission.
