DAAD Summer Courses (HSK) are in-person intensive German language and regional studies courses offered by state or state-recognized German universities and affiliated language schools. They are aimed at undergraduate and master’s students from abroad and run for a minimum of 18 teaching days, typically between June and September. The programme provides a one-time scholarship payment, a country-specific travel allowance, and health, accident and personal liability insurance. Courses are taught fully in German and focus on general German, technical language and regional studies.

One-time payment of €1,192 (€1,367 for Least Developed Countries), country-specific travel allowance, health, accident and personal liability insurance.
Requisitos
Open to non-German undergraduate and master’s students enrolled in a program outside Germany; undergraduate students must have completed at least two academic years by the course start. Minimum age: 18 years at start of course. Minimum German proficiency: at least A2/B1 (certificate no older than one year).
Cómo postularte
Open applications mid-September 2025 on the DAAD portal. Submit online application form (choose up to three preferred courses) and upload CV, letter of motivation, degree certificates/transcripts, German language certificate, passport copy and any other supporting documents by the stated deadline.
