The Asian Physics Olympiad (APhO) is an annual competition for high-school students from Asia and Oceania featuring theoretical and practical physics examinations. The 2026 edition is scheduled for 2026-05-17 to 2026-05-25 and follows a multi-stage national selection process. Each participating country may send up to eight contestants and candidates typically undergo national exams and pre-departure training camps prior to participation. The competition is organised in a format closely similar to the International Physics Olympiad.
Requisitos
Students studying in classes 9, 10, 11 or 12 who have qualified through national selection stages (including INPhO and Pre-Departure Training camps) and who do not attain the age of 20 years on June 30 of the year.
Cómo postularte
Selection is via national-level examinations and training: National Standard Examinations in Physics (NSEP), Indian National Olympiads in Physics (INPhO) where applicable, and Pre-Departure Training Camps (PDTs); participating countries nominate contestants (up to eight each).
