Catalyst Grants Programme 2026

The Catalyst Grants Programme 2026 by the Woodsmith Foundation offers grants to support community-led initiatives that address disadvantage and create long-term positive change. It funds projects that improve opportunities, reduce inequalities, and strengthen community connections across its area of benefit. Funding supports revenue, capital or mixed costs and is aimed at initiatives demonstrating strong community involvement and systems-change approaches.

Grant funding (awards over £10,000), support for revenue and capital costs, potential larger awards depending on proposal strength.

Eligible applicants include individuals, non-profit organisations, community groups, partnerships and consortia that demonstrate strong community engagement and alignment with Foundation priorities.

Two-stage process: submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) during the EOI window; shortlisted applicants are invited to a full application stage. EOIs open February 2026 and close end of October 2026 (or earlier if funds exhausted).
