A short LSE Summer School course on the role of journalism and news media in contemporary society, taught by faculty from the Department of Media and Communications. The course includes lectures, classes, workshops and daily guest talks by journalists, and covers topics such as media ethics, AI in journalism and the impact of digital media on political journalism. Assessment can include an examination and an essay and the course carries typical credit (3-4 US credits / 7.5 ECTS).

Requisitos
Requires an interest in contemporary journalism and international politics, fluent written and spoken English, and prior study of at least one introductory course in political science, international relations, sociology, economics or media and communications.
