The URH Summer Research Program (SRP) is an umbrella summer research initiative at UC San Diego composed of 8+ 8- or 10-week programs that place undergraduate students in mentor-directed research cohorts. The SRP provides paid stipends to participants, research mentoring, and opportunities to present at the Summer Research Conference. Individual programs within SRP focus on different areas (for example metabolic disease, astronomy, engineering and transfer-student support) and have program-specific requirements.

Requisitos
Must be enrolled full-time, spend at least 30 hours/week on mentor-directed research during the program, attend SRP orientation, present research at the Summer Research Conference, be present for the entire program, and cannot work or take classes during the summer; each individual program has additional specific requirements.
