Summer Education Research Program (SERP)

A 10-week residential summer research program at the University of Wisconsin–Madison School of Education that places undergraduate students with faculty or research associate mentors. The program provides guided research experience, weekly seminars, professional development, and a culminating research presentation. It is intended to prepare and encourage undergraduates to pursue and succeed in graduate studies in education-related fields.

$5,000 stipend, travel expenses to Madison, housing, mentoring by faculty/research associate, weekly seminars, professional development, and a culminating presentation opportunity.

Undergraduate students interested in pursuing graduate studies in academic fields within the School of Education.

Application opens November 1 and closes February 15 with decisions made on a rolling basis.
