Olimpíada Nacional de Nanotecnologia (ONANO)

The Olimpíada Nacional de Nanotecnologia (ONANO) is a national educational olympiad and learning platform about nanotechnology that provides preparatory learning and a competitive exam. It offers a free online learning environment (NANOBOARD) with video lessons, materials and simulations, followed by state and national phases of competition. The programme awards medals and special trophies and ships medals to winners' schools. It is supported by CNPq, the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation and Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie.

Free access to the NANOBOARD learning platform (video lessons, materials, simulados), medals and trophies for top performers, medals mailed to schools free of charge, invitation to national award ceremony.

Open and free to students from Brazil: from 4th grade of primary school (Categoria 0) through Ensino Fundamental II and Ensino Médio, technical course students; also includes university students, teachers and science enthusiasts (Categoria 5).
