Programul de burse oferite de statul român pentru studenții din afara Uniunii Europene, anul universitar 2026-2027

Annual scholarship programme run by the Romanian state for international students from non-EU countries for the 2026-2027 academic year. The scholarships cover studies at Romanian higher education institutions and beneficiaries (except doctoral candidates) study in the Romanian language. Candidates who do not speak Romanian may receive a preparatory year of Romanian language study; doctoral grantees may choose studies in Romanian or in a foreign language set by the doctoral school.

Citizens of non-EU countries, with exclusions (Romanian origin or historic Romanian communities, those who have requested/obtained protection in Romania, stateless persons with recognized stay, diplomatic/consular staff and families, administrative/technical staff of missions and international organisations in Romania, and beneficiaries of a Romanian state scholarship for the same study cycle). Applicants must submit a complete file, present study documents from accredited institutions and have an average grade of at least 7 (or the equivalent "Bine"). Students in Medicine, Dentistry and Pharmacy are excluded.
