Eco Summer Camp 2026: An Interdisciplinary Summer School for Sustainability

Eco Summer Camp 2026 is a one-week interdisciplinary summer school on sustainability taking place at Kolleg St. Blasien in the Southern Black Forest. The programme brings around 50 students, young professionals and lifelong learners from more than 20 countries together for lectures, workshops, field trips and guided reflection. The working language is English and participants can earn 4 ECTS through the Newman Institute Uppsala. The week integrates practical activities, seminars and eco-spiritual reflection.

Roughly 80 percent of participants are students and young professionals between 18 and 35; the remaining 20 percent are lifelong learners who join as peers. The programme targets students, early-career professionals and lifelong learners interested in sustainability.
