Coding it Forward Summer Fellowship 2026

The Coding it Forward Summer Fellowship 2026 is a paid ten-week fellowship for early-career technologists that places participants in local, state, and federal government offices across the United States. Fellows work on projects in cybersecurity, data, design, product management, and software engineering, gaining government experience and collaboration skills.

Hourly pay during the ten-week fellowship; full-time work experience across government offices; exposure to cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder communication.

Applicants must be a U.S. citizen, U.S. national, or permanent resident, at least 18 years old at the start, located in the United States for the duration, and enrolled in or recently graduated from a bachelor’s, master’s, professional, or doctoral program (with specific graduation window requirements).
