Taiwan Foundation For Democracy Fully Funded Fellowships, 2022, Taiwan

The Taiwan Foundation for Democracy grants fellowships to scholars and practitioners from outside Taiwan to pursue research related to Taiwan’s democracy and human rights. Fellowships are divided into four categories: Dissertation Fellowships, Postdoctoral Fellowships, Democracy and Human Rights Service Fellowships, and International Visiting Fellowships. Fellows may reside in Taiwan for up to one year to conduct their research, and all fellowships must end in or before December of the same calendar year in which they begin.

monthly stipend for living expenses, round-trip airfare reimbursement, shared office space with computing facilities, access to research materials and network, support from TFD staff, and related office resources.

Fellowships are available to scholars and practitioners from outside Taiwan who wish to pursue research related to Taiwan’s democracy and human rights.
