Funding for research in Book History, 2022, The Willison Foundation, UK

The Willison Foundation Charitable Trust offers a research grant for advanced work in the History of the Book. Awards are up to £4,000 and are intended for individual researchers pursuing doctoral-level or equivalent work, with preference for projects aiming at publication or dissemination. Applicants are normally informed by mid-to-late December, with payments in early January of the following year; projects funded should be completed within the calendar year, with possible extensions on brief interim reports.

Applications are invited from anyone pursuing advanced research in the History of the Book, irrespective of nationality, discipline, or profession. An application must be made by a single person, either as an individual or on behalf of a group or organisation that carries out research in the History of the Book.
