The Willison Foundation Charitable Trust offers a research grant for advanced work in the History of the Book. Awards are up to £4,000 and are intended for individual researchers pursuing doctoral-level or equivalent work, with preference for projects aiming at publication or dissemination. Applicants are normally informed by mid-to-late December, with payments in early January of the following year; projects funded should be completed within the calendar year, with possible extensions on brief interim reports.
