Call for Applications: 2026 Workday AI Research PhD Fellowship

The Workday AI Research PhD Fellowship supports exceptional doctoral students working at the intersection of AI and enterprise software. Fellows remain at their home university while collaborating with Workday AI researchers, for up to two years. The program provides funding and professional support, including a potential summer internship and mentorship.

Financial support of up to $50,000 per year for two years, mentorship from Workday researchers, optional 12-week paid summer internship, early access to full-time Workday roles.

PhD students in their 3rd year or later at an accredited university, with a faculty advisor willing to co-engage on a shared research problem, and who can submit a proposal describing a mutual-interest problem.

PhD advisor must email a 2-page research proposal, the student’s CV, and a faculty endorsement letter to workday-ai-research@workday.com.
