University of Glasgow African Excellence Award 2026/2027

The University of Glasgow African Excellence Award 2026/2027 provides scholarships to high achieving African students who wish to undertake a one-year taught Masters programme at the University of Glasgow. Up to 16 scholarships are available for international students from Africa. The scholarship covers the full tuition fee for the Masters programme.

Full tuition fee waiver for the one-year Masters programme; selected applicants may be invited to an interview; UKVI living costs/financial requirement applies to recipients.

Applicants must be domiciled in Africa, hold a UK offer for a one-year taught Masters programme (offer not required to apply but interview consideration requires an offer), have international fee status, and demonstrate a clear career/development plan supported by Masters study.
