University of Sydney RTP Scholarship 2024-25

The Research Training Program (RTP) scholarship in Australia is funded by the Australian Government and supports international postgraduate research students by covering tuition fees and providing a living stipend. It is offered at the University of Sydney across a wide range of disciplines and aims to enable scholars to conduct research and gain experience alongside fellow researchers.

Stipend for living expenses; full tuition coverage; visa application fee waiver; no admission or registration fees; opportunity to conduct research at the University of Sydney.

Applicants can be a new or already enrolled international postgraduate research student; should have an unconditional admission offer letter or be currently enrolled in a master’s degree or PhD at the University of Sydney.

During the application for the postgraduate research degree, select the option to be considered for the RTP Scholarship; a separate scholarship application is not needed.
