HIIG Internet and Society Fellowship 2026

The HIIG Internet and Society Fellowship 2026 is a six-week, in-person research fellowship hosted by the Alexander von Humboldt Institute for Internet and Society (HIIG) in Berlin. It welcomes researchers to pursue their own project, collaborate with HIIG researchers and fellows, and participate in internal talks, workshops, and knowledge-exchange formats focused on the intersection of society, technology, and democratic governance.

Opportunity to pursue an independent research project, collaborate with HIIG researchers, present work in internal talks or workshops, contribute to open-access publications, participate in webinars and knowledge-exchange formats, and engage with a international research community.

Applicants should have a Master’s degree with PhD in progress / planned (Junior Fellow) or Advanced PhD or postdoctoral researcher.
