The Mongabay Y. Eva Tan Conservation Reporting Fellowship supports early-career environmental journalists for a six-month period (2026-2028) to produce reporting across several language-specific cohorts. Fellows receive a stipend and work with Mongabay editors to develop multiple stories related to conservation and the environment.

Conditions d'éligibilité
Applicants must be from low- to upper-middle-income tropical countries as classified by the World Bank and be aspiring, early-career environmental journalists who can work remotely and commit to 10 hours per week. There is no education requirement and the fellowship is not linked to any university; materials must be in English for the English-language program.
