NYC Civic Corps 2026–2027

The NYC Civic Corps is a full-time national service program administered through NYC Service. The 10-month cohort places members with City agencies and nonprofit organizations across New York City to support projects that strengthen neighborhoods, improve access to essential services, and build stronger communities. Participants receive hands-on professional experience, leadership development, and a comprehensive benefits package during their service year.

Financial support and comprehensive benefits including a living stipend, education award, health coverage, transportation benefits, paid time off, loan forbearance where eligible, childcare assistance (if eligible), and SNAP benefits; plus professional development and networking opportunities.

Eligible participants include recent college graduates, individuals changing careers, and emerging professionals interested in nonprofit work and public service.
