The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) has announced more than $9.75 million in grant funding through two programs designed to strengthen agricultural development and food security. The Acer Access and Development Program funds projects to strengthen the domestic maple syrup industry, while the Micro-Grants for Food Security Program supports local food security initiatives.
