A fully funded PhD project hosted by Loughborough University, focused on understanding how flooding and landslides amplify tropical cyclone risk. The project uses AI, satellite data and hazard modelling to study co-occurring hazards and inform disaster risk reduction, insurance, and early warning systems. It includes international research placements and doctoral training under the i-Risk DFA programme.

Conditions d'éligibilité
Applicants must hold a strong undergraduate degree or Master’s degree with at least a UK 2:1 honours (or equivalent). Relevant disciplines include Civil Engineering, Climate Science, Environmental Science, Geography, Data Science, Hazard Modelling, Earth Sciences, Disaster Risk Management, AI and Informatics; international applicants must meet English language requirements.
