Québec Merit Scholarship Program for Foreign Students 2027–2028

The Québec Merit Scholarship Program for Foreign Students is an initiative funded by Québec’s Ministère de l’Enseignement supérieur and administered by the Fonds québécois de la recherche sur la nature et les technologies (FQRNT). It provides financial support for international students and researchers pursuing master’s studies, doctoral studies, postdoctoral fellowships, and short-term research projects at Québec universities. Recipients gain access to Canadian research institutions, international networking opportunities, and support for academic and professional development in Québec.

Applicants must be international students or foreign researchers who have the support of a professor at a Québec university and be preselected by a Québec university before final selection by FQRNT.
