Black Girls Defense Fund – Resistance and Resilience Grant 2026

The Resistance and Resilience Grant is a funding opportunity for organizations defending and advocating for Black girls, women, and femme-identifying youth in the Southern United States. It funds community-led initiatives aimed at justice, safety, health equity, and systemic change, with grants ranging from $5,000 to $20,000 to support general operating needs and program work.

Unrestricted general operating support or program funding of up to $20,000; flexibility in how resources are allocated to support advocacy, community programs, justice reform, health and safety initiatives, and youth empowerment.

Applicants must be a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization or have a nonprofit fiscal sponsor and operate in at least one of the specified Southern U.S. states.

Applicants must complete the JustFund Common Application and submit required supporting documents.
