Join UNICEF Nigeria’s Youth Action Team (YPAT) 2026

UNICEF Nigeria’s GenU 9JA Youth People’s Action Team (YPAT) 2026 is a volunteering opportunity designed to empower young Nigerians to participate in shaping policies, drive community-based projects, and influence decisions affecting their future. Selected participants will work with UNICEF teams and partners on issues such as education, climate action, digital innovation, health, and WASH, gaining hands-on experience and access to a nationwide network of mentors.

Practical experience in youth advocacy and governance, skills in project planning and community engagement, training in digital content creation and social campaigns, leadership development, mentoring, and access to a nationwide network of mentors.

Applicants must be Nigerian citizens aged between 10 and 29 years, willing to commit to a 12-month program and have access to a smartphone and internet.
