FAO Fellows Programme 2026

The FAO Fellows Programme 2026 offers a fellowship opportunity with the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations. It is designed for experienced researchers and professionals who want to contribute to global agricultural development, food security, and sustainable agri-food systems. Fellows work with FAO teams across its global network, engaging in research, policy analysis, and program implementation for up to 11 months.

Gaining experience working with a United Nations agency, contributing to global development projects, expanding professional networks, and enhancing research and policy analysis skills.

Applicants must hold a Master’s or PhD degree (or be a current PhD student or recent graduate with advanced training), have at least two years of relevant work or research experience, be proficient in at least one FAO official language, and be a national of an FAO Member country.
