British Council Climate Skills Global Collaboration Grants 2026

Grants provided to fund collaborations that deliver structured, industry-aligned opportunities for young people to gain green work experience and/or green entrepreneurship experience. Funding supports establishing new collaborations or developing existing links between HEIs, TVET institutions, training providers, and NGOs with a focus on longer term sustainability, enabling young people in the UK and partner countries to undertake opportunities.

Funding to establish collaborations and deliver green work experience or training; mutual knowledge exchange, capacity building and sustained engagement between partners.

Joint proposals from one lead UK institution and one lead partner country institution. Organisations should be based in the UK and one other Climate Skills delivery country (Brazil, Mexico, India, Indonesia or Viet Nam).
