Informations

Applications are open for the AfricaLics PhD Visiting Fellowship Programme 2026. The programme supports African PhD students working on innovation and development to strengthen their academic qualifications, improve dissertations, and prepare for a career in academia or policy, private sector, or government. It aims to increase mobility and exposure to international knowledge in the field of innovation and development, with funding provided by Sida through the AfricaLics project.

Avantages

Flights, health insurance, living stipend, participation costs for courses and mentorship, and two in-person meetings funded.

Conditions d'éligibilité

Open to PhD students from African countries classified as low or lower-middle income by OECD/DAC, studying topics related to innovation and development.

Candidature

Submit a brief application (about 500 words) including current PhD project, motivation, and expected outcomes, plus requested documents to visitingphd@africalics.org by 23:00 East Africa time on November 15, 2025.
