Oak International Human Rights Fellowship

Oak International Human Rights Fellowship offers a sabbatical-style residency for frontline human rights practitioners to conduct research, write, and participate in related events while living at Colby College for the fall semester. It is aimed at practitioners involved in on-the-ground human rights work, including those operating in environments with personal risk. Fellows reside at Colby and participate in lectures and events organized around their field of expertise.

Residence at Colby for the fall semester (September–December), time for respite, reflection, research, and writing, and involvement in lectures and events related to the fellow's area of expertise.

All human rights practitioners are eligible, with encouragement for those currently or recently involved in on-the-ground work at some level of personal risk.
