Gates Millennium Scholars Program

The Gates Millennium Scholars (GMS) Program provides funding to outstanding students to complete an undergraduate college education in any discipline, with the possibility of applying for funding for a graduate degree in select disciplines. It is funded by a grant from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and is aimed at specific underrepresented racial/ethnic groups in the United States.

Eligible individuals are those who are undergraduate students or prospective undergraduates with the potential to pursue an undergraduate education, with the possibility of graduate funding in specified disciplines for continuing scholars.
