The New Investigator Research Grant (NIRG) targets researchers who are capable of becoming independent Principal Investigators and are ready to take the next step toward that goal. It provides support as part of the UKRI/Medical Research Council funding framework for early-stage investigators aiming to establish independent research programmes.

Avantages

Project funding for up to five years, contribution to salary (up to 50% supported), coverage of 80% of full economic costs and 100% of exceptions.
