ESMA Traineeships

The ESMA Traineeships are paid 6-12 month traineeships offered by the European Securities and Markets Authority. They are open to European students and graduates to work in departments such as Corporate Affairs, Risk & Control, Communications, Resources, HR, Finance, Procurement, Facility Management, and ICT. Trainees gain professional experience in a European Union agency and contribute to financial market stability and investor protection.

Applicants must be nationals of a Member State of the European Union or the European Economic Area; graduates must have completed the first cycle of higher education and obtained a university degree, or an official declaration from their university for undergraduates; good knowledge of English is required.
