Florida Benacquisto Scholarship

The Florida Benacquisto Scholarship is a merit-based award for Florida high school graduates who receive National Merit Scholar recognition. The scholarship provides an award equal to the cost of attendance for their eligible Florida institution and is reserved for Florida residents who enroll full-time in an eligible baccalaureate degree program in Florida.

The award amount corresponds to the cost of attendance at the chosen Florida postsecondary institution.

Eligible applicants are Florida high school graduates who are National Merit Scholars, enroll in an eligible Florida postsecondary institution full-time in a bachelor’s degree program, and are U.S. citizens or eligible non-citizens.

Eligibility is identified through National Merit Scholar status; there is no separate application to submit for the Benacquisto Scholarship, and students should ensure their college has their National Merit Finalist information.
